Passionfruit Sour Mocktail

Fizzy? Check. Fruity? Check. Alcohol free? Check! Check out this zesty and tropical mocktail for a real flavour bonanza.


Serves 2


  • 3 Passion Fruits, cut in halves
  • 30mL Fresh Lemon juice
  • 1 Egg White
  • 100mL Gordon’s Zero Alcohol Gin
  • 15mL Vanilla infused sugar syrup, see note below
  • Handful of ice
  • Soda water, to serve




  • Scoop the flesh from four of the passion fruit halves into a cocktail shaker. Add the lemon juice, egg white, Gordon’s Zero Alcohol Gin and syrup and shake vigorously until frothy.
  • Add the ice, then shake again until the outside of the shaker feels cold. Double strain into martini glasses.
  • Top up the martinis with soda water and garnish with the remaining passion fruit halves.

Note: To make your own vanilla infused sugar syrup, simply add equal parts sugar and water to a saucepan with a split vanilla bean pod over a medium-high heat. Simmer, swirling the pan occasionally, until the sugar has completely dissolved. Strain to remove the vanilla bean pod, then leave to cool before using.
